System

The system we use is decentralised governance

Grand Kivu does not run as a single top-down hierarchy. Authority is distributed: local chapters decide local matters, continental forums coordinate regions, and the General Assembly sets shared direction. Coordination exists to connect — not to command.

  • Local autonomy Chapters set priorities, events, and outreach for their communities.
  • Peer coordination Continental reps link chapters without overriding their mandates.
  • Shared consent Major policies and leadership emerge from member votes, not central decree.
  • Open accountability Minutes, finances, and decisions stay visible to the whole network.
